“Keep It Green”, mixed media on canvas, was inspired by a beautiful plant that caught my eye while I was walking in southern California in the summer of 2019. The unusual shape of the leaves, their lush abundance, and the intensity of the color gave me the idea to use a variety of recycled materials and paint on canvas to create a feeling of growth and greenness.
